About Broad Harvest

Broad Harvest is a small, family-run cut flower farm in New Brunswick, growing seasonal blooms for the local community.

We grow our flowers right here in Geary, guided by the seasons. Our offerings change throughout the year and we believe that part of the beauty of local flowers is their seasonality. Not everything is available all the time, and that’s exactly the point.

At Broad Harvest, we don’t see flowers as a luxury item meant only for special occasions. We believe flowers are an everyday beauty, something that invites people to slow down, notice the present moment, and enjoy what’s here now. Because flowers are fleeting, they remind us to appreciate things as they are, rather than waiting for the “right” time.

Broad Harvest is very much a family effort. From planting and harvesting to arranging bouquets and tending the fields, this farm is shaped by everyday life and the rhythms that come with it

We are the McLaughlins.

the family behind Broad Harvest Flowers

What began as a love for growing things and time spent outside, slowly grew into something more. While flowers were always admired, they felt like a luxury, something to enjoy someday, just not today.

We started, as most people do, with a vegetable garden. As this garden grew, so did the flowers. First as companion plants alongside the vegetables, then eventually, as something more intentional. It didn’t take long for Erika to realize that she could grow her own cut flowers for the house. What started there quickly turned into a passion, and then an obsession, one that was shared with family and friends long before it became a business. Luc was then recruited to help with the logistics and heavy lifting. And as the kids learned to walk, they fell right alongside us, eager to help.

In 2025, we decided to share that love with our wider community. Now, each year, we add thoughtfully and intentionally, building a business rooted in seasonality, simplicity, and a belief in the slow, beautiful life.
